If you have a Walgreens in your neighborhood, I probably don't have to tell you how convenient it is to have one nearby. This change may affect some customers with Express Scripts prescription plan but Walgreens is working hard to make sure the transition is a smooth one. Right now they are offering an annual membership to the Walgreens Prescription Savings Club at a discounted rate.

During this special January promotion an individual can sign up for only $5 and a family can sign up for $10. The regular fee for these memberships is $20 for an individual and $35 for a family, so they are offering an amazing discount right now!

With the Walgreens Prescription Savings Club members can save money on thousands of brand name medications and all generic medications. In fact, many generic medications are available in a 3 month supply for less than $1 per week.
