Hot Wheels Custom Motors Starter Set Review & Giveaway!

Hot Wheels was one of the fabulous sponsors at the Mom 2.0 Summit. They were so sweet and gave each attendee one of these fabulous Custom Motors Starter Sets to take home.

 

I was really impressed with this particular toy (I mean c'mon, I'm mom to a boy) because it seems to offer a lot of bang for your buck. The set retails for around $20 and after seeing all the different ways to customize the car with the set, the price seemed spot on.





I also like the custom concept, because I think most kids would not tire of this toy easily.

I was not able to see Jackson in action with this toy since it is for kids Ages 4+. But here are the pro's and con's from my perspective.

This set is great for anyone with a child 4 or older who loves cars, building things, and manipulative play.

This set might not be a good fit for your family if you do not like toys with small parts. Each set comes with many small pieces and I recommend getting a storage box if you intend to purchase one.

  17. My son would love this! He plays with hot wheels but also collects them and has them hanging all over his room.

    They're at amazon right now for a pricey $29.99!...only one left too.
    It would be cool to see one of these in a 57chevy.
