WW- It's really me

This is probably one of my favorite photos of myself.


Dave took it on Thanksgiving Day in 2006. We had just started dating a few months prior (July to be exact) and he would propose exactly one month after this was taken (on Christmas eve).

I like this photo because I can see just how relaxed I was with myself and my life.

I don't really like photos of myself now because I can see stress, exhaustion, and other things in myself.

So, I'm hanging onto photos like this one... ones that give me perspective and remind me to keep my chin up on days when I would rather just bow out.
