Bright Eyes

That's what I feel like this today after having used the AVON ANEW Rejuvenate 24 Hour Eye Moisturizer SPF 25 2-in-1 cream.

The thing I immediately fell in love with about this cream when I opened the package was that it contained a cream for both day and night, in the same little jar! How convenient!

Anyone who has ever gone to the store to try and purchase skin creams knows that this is not often the case...and you would normally end up buying 2 expensive creams to treat the eye area.

So, kudos to AVON for thinking of us cost conscious ladies!

I used the night cream first, and I liked that it went on smooth and easy, and sank in pretty quickly. Just like the face cream there was no greasy residue left behind. The next day I was happy to find the skin around my eyes to be more smooth and less puffy and red than the morning before. My little dark circles seemed just a bit lighter as well!

I like that the day cream has SPF 25, because skin cancer runs rampant in my family and having that extra protection in there eases my mind. This cream is light and easy to apply as well. Even with the SPF in there it is not greasy, you can smell the SPF a bit, but I'll take that over getting skin cancer!

The day cream won me over especially, because I was able to apply my eye make-up without any trouble only minutes after I had used the cream! My make- up went on smooth and easy....almost as if I hadn't used a product beforehand at all!

But, from the lack of puffiness and redness, I could totally tell I had used it!

These creams are a definite winner with me!
Here's what AVON has to say about this product:

ANEW REJUVENATE 24 Hour Eye Moisturizer SPF 25

2-in-1 Eye Cream.

Use AM and PM on eyelids and undereye areas. .66 total fl. oz.

Day Eye Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 25 UVA/UVB scientifically designed to reduce undereye circles and protect against UVA/UVB damage to sensative lid & undereye areas.

Night Eye Cream specially formulated to visibly reduce undereye puffiness and smooth the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles.

In 24 hours 70% of women saw the look of fine lines softened, shadows brightened and puffiness reduced.

Sound like the perfect gift????

I'm feeling rejuvenated already!

Lat night I smoothed on some ANEW Rejuvenate Revitalizing Night Cream after washing my face, and I have to say as of this morning, I'm really liking the results!

The first thing I noticed when I opened the jar was the pleasant smell and consistency of the cream. Call me crazy, but I hate creams that feel greasy, smell bad, or that leave a residue on both your face and your hands. Not only does ANEW Rejuvenate Revitalizing Night Cream have a wonderful scent, but it blended easily into my skin without leaving a bit of residue behind!

As of this morning, my skin tone seems more even with areas that are normally a little red being reduced. I also feel like my face appears less blotchy.....and let me tell you about how smooth my skin feels!

AMAZING! And that was just in one evening, you can bet I'll be slathering this stuff on every night!

Here's what AVON has to say about this product!

Lightweight gel-cream works while you sleep, so you awaken to skin that looks fresher and more vibrant. 1.7 fl. oz.

Mini-Extraction Technology: Formulated to work like thousands of micro-extractions to help visibly shrink pores.
Exfo-Smoothing Complex: Designed to resurface skin to help clarify and reveal a fresher, younger look.
Revitafresh Technology: Engineered to reinforce cell bonds and help make skin look more even and smoother.

In just 7 days produces results of a professional anti-aging facial*. Reduces fine lines & visible pore size, smoothes texture & evens skin tone.
In just 2 weeks** dramatically reduces the look of fine wrinkles.
Over time*** 100% of women showed improvement in texture, tone & clarity. Pore size is visibly reduced by 30%.

I feel like a turkey

Despite my best efforts the past few days to clean my house, keep things organized, and trying to stay motivated to finish out the semester....... well they have all sort of fizzled out.

I pick up everyday but by the end of the day, or the next morning, things look about the same. :(
This morning I awoke the ENTIRE box of Q-tips spread out across the bathroom floor.....and then I remembered that last night in my desperation to get Jackson to calm down before bed, that I let him do that.....since it stopped him from screaming bloody murder (oh, how I love teething!).

This mom thing is crazy. I don't so much mind that my house is messy, I mean, really no one expects me to be Martha Stewart (I hope).

I guess I just hate feeling like I did yesterday, when the box of Q-tips (and a good dose of baby Tylenol) was my last saving grace the get my little boy to be calm enough for bed time. I don't like feeling that I can't do it all, even though I know it isn't possible.

I feel an extra strain as well because the Holidays are upon us and I keep thinking about all the decorating, baking, and other things I still need to do.

So today, I'm going to try and take a deep breath and start fresh! Let see what I make of this new beginning!

Let me Remember

So can I just say that last night when I made this, I even blew myself away. I'm constantly surprised at how even though I scrap most of the time, my technique and the look of my pages is forever evolving.

I am ENORMOUSLY pleased with the way this turned out! The colors on the layout are a little distorted in the photo, but with the Fall weather lately, there hasn't been much bright light for picture taking. Oh well.

Hope you are having a great day!

Have you seen this?

In the midst of International Babywearing Week, I find out the marketing people at Motrin have missed the boat completely. Apparently all us Babywearers are uncomfortable, and the only reason we do it is because we want to look like Super Mom....thanks Motrin for letting everyone think I'm just trying look cool. NOT! :-(

Wow, they just lost a ton of Mom business, I just know it!

So I've been thinking...

I got an email from a friend yesterday that said she wanted to swap addresses with anyone who wanted to exchange Christmas cards, and I thought....What a great idea!!!

Wouldn't it be nice to come home on a cold winter evening to a mailbox full of warm Holiday wishes (and maybe not so many bills, LOL!)?? Join me won't you! :-)

I'd really like to do this!!! If you want to exchange cards this Christmas, please either leave me a comment with your email addy, so we can swap info that way, or if you'd prefer you can just email me direct (my email can be found in my blogger profile) with your address.

Even if I have sent you something in the past (Steph, Jenn, Abz, Erica, & Annie) please send me your info again anyway, this time I promise to write in my address book for good (maybe if I'm really motivated I'll send out Valentines too!!!! ***dude this energy has to have come from all the coffee I just drank***hehehe)

So yeah, lets make this Holiday extra bright, with lots of lovely greetings!

Deal????

7 things about me

Well Jenn tagged me for a meme and I haven't done one of these in awhile, so I wanted to play along!

I'm supposed to write 7 things about myself and the tag 7 of my bloggy buddies to play too. Instead though, I'm just gonna say, if you want to do this you can, and send me a message when you're done so I can come read your answers!

1. I'm am SO tired of going to school! Seriously, if I could be done today, I would be! It is just sucking the life out of me...if we didn't need a second income I wouldn't be going, I'm serious!

2. I just started selling stuff on Ebay and it is way cooler and easier than I thought it would be! It's actually really fun!

3. I'm hoping to get all my Disney pictures scrapped by the end of Thanksgiving break! It's a lofty goal, but I think I can do it!

4. I'm really glad gas is back below 2.00 here! REALLY GLAD!

5. I'm very excited about one of my upcoming SU! workshops because we are trying a new little project I'm very excited about!

6. I'm trying very hard to make extra money for Christmas this year so we don't have to put any of it on credit. Just in case you didn't know I sell stuff here, and here. I also do custom orders of scrapbook pages, albums, and cards. If you are interested just leave me a comment, or email me!
Your business and support are always 100% appreciated! :-)

7. I feel like a need a nap, but I'll probably just had a cup of coffee instead and continue to trudge through the day!

8. Heck! I'll add one extra! I am @princesshaley on Twitter, and I want more friends on there, so follow me, and I'll follow you back! :-)

BTW!!! I'm having a contest to win a free Stampin' Up! stamp set, you can sign up until Nov 21st, check it out!

Why don't more people do this?

It's funny about babywearing. Before I ever had children I thought the parents walking around with their kids strapped to them were: crazy, uncomfortable, hot and sweaty, etc. I thought, how can that be enjoyable for either party?

I was even more bewildered because neither party was actually showing any signs of discomfort..."there must be some clever rouse involved" I would tell myself.

Then I had a little guy of my own, who LOVED to be held all the time, even while sleeping....and so began my babywearing days.

I was shocked at how truly easy it was to get around, clean, do chores and other things while I wore a baby who seemed to have little concern about the fact that I was moving around constantly because he was right next to me.

The Ultimate Test however would come when I decided to attend my college's Homecoming game last year. Jackson was barely two months old, but I really wanted to go, so we did.

On the way there I thought "well, if he is fussy or bothered by the noise, we'll just go sit in the indoor lounge and watch the game from the t.v. and I was totally prepared to do so.

That was never necessary though. Jackson slept in his sling the entire game, even with all the shouting and cheering. At one point, as you can see in the pictures, we were even down on the sidelines and it didn't phase him.

Just goes to show that even in 80 degree heat, with a loud crowd, Jackson was perfectly content to be worn. And of course I got to enjoy the game.

Proof that you can't go wrong with babywearing.
