It's funny about babywearing. Before I ever had children I thought the parents walking around with their kids strapped to them were: crazy, uncomfortable, hot and sweaty, etc. I thought, how can that be enjoyable for either party?
I was even more bewildered because neither party was actually showing any signs of discomfort..."there must be some clever rouse involved" I would tell myself.
Then I had a little guy of my own, who LOVED to be held all the time, even while sleeping....and so began my babywearing days.
I was shocked at how truly easy it was to get around, clean, do chores and other things while I wore a baby who seemed to have little concern about the fact that I was moving around constantly because he was right next to me.
The Ultimate Test however would come when I decided to attend my college's Homecoming game last year. Jackson was barely two months old, but I really wanted to go, so we did.

On the way there I thought "well, if he is fussy or bothered by the noise, we'll just go sit in the indoor lounge and watch the game from the t.v. and I was totally prepared to do so.
That was never necessary though. Jackson slept in his sling the entire game, even with all the shouting and cheering. At one point, as you can see in the pictures, we were even down on the sidelines and it didn't phase him.

Just goes to show that even in 80 degree heat, with a loud crowd, Jackson was perfectly content to be worn. And of course I got to enjoy the game.

Proof that you can't go wrong with babywearing.
