Diet Update!

I have now lost a total of 7 lbs! Yay me! This weekend I'm going to to work out extra hard, so we'll see where that gets me!

It's my blogaversary!!!!

My blog is one year old today, wow! It really doesn't seem like I've been doing this that long. It is also awesome because I have made some amazing friends in this short year, friends that I know will be around for many years to come. :-)

Today Jackson and I are going shopping with my mom, and I'm also going to get fitted for a bridesmaids dress for my friend Abby's wedding. :-)

All in all, it will be a busy day!

I know....that is alot of layouts! But I'm glad, it caught me up totally so that's great!

On Sunday we went to the park (it was beautiful day and a perfect 81 degrees!) and got so awesome photos! Here are a few.



Look a picture with me in it!!! A nice guy sitting near us in the park took this photo, and I'm so glad...being the picture taker all the time leaves me out constantly!

The diet and working out continue! I haven't weighed today, but at my last one I had lost a total of 6 lbs! Go me!

Feeling great about this diet already!!

Well I weighed this morning, and after only 4 serious days on this diet I've lost 4 lbs! Woohoo!!!! I cannot tell you how happy that makes me!

When I make it to 15 lbs I tell you what I've been doing as far as eating and exercise, but like I said yesterday, I don't want to jinx myself, so I'm not telling until then!

In all I want to lose 50 lbs, which may seem like alot, but I've been overweight since I started college, and things only got worse when I was pregnant...so I decided enough was enough. I hope to lose all this weight, so I can feel awesome about my body and myself!

By this summer, I'm gonna be one hot mamma!!! :-)

Today is Jackson's 6 month birthday! That's crazy! He just grows so fast!

Well, yesterday my sickness got the best of me and I didn't get too much done, but I made up for it today! I did the laundry (while wearing Jackson the whole time! yay for that it counts for half my cardio today!) took a food donation to the local shelter, and tidied up around the house a bit.

OH! I've started a new diet and exercise plan with Dave that we are both feeling really good about! I don't want to tell you what it is just yet, but if I have great success I will share!

So, I feel good, since yesterday I was bummed for not getting anything done!

Just a few things

Today I will be mopping the Kitchen, which is a good thing, because it's long overdue.

I will also be doing some school work, and maybe the laundry. We'll see.

I've been feeling a bit under the weather, I think I caught the chest cold that Jackson is just now getting over, yuck.

Monday, monday

Well this weekend was super fun!!!! My SIL and I went and did this and made all three projects!
It was a blast. Saturday DH and I kept their kiddos so she and her hubby could go out to celebrate their anniversary/valentines day.

Me and Dave's 1 year Anniversary was actually Saturday, but we celebrated earlier in the month, when my mom had time off and was able to keep Baby J.

Last night we went out to eat at The Junction with a Gift Certificate from Dave's parents for our Anniversary. YUM!!! It was delicious! What was cool about going to eat there was that just one year before that's where we had our wedding reception, so it was a nice treat!

Afterward, Dave's parents kept Baby J so that we could go see The Spiderwick Chronicles, which we both really enjoyed!! It was a super neat movie!

All in all I had a great Anniversary and weekend! :-) Now I guess it's back to housekeeping and school work, but after my refreshing weekend, that's totally ok!

It's Friday!

I really don't have too much to say today. It was a long week and I'm kinda looking forward to a restful weekend. I finally got my first kit from LRSC and I'm soooo excited to crack it open and use it!

We are going to visit family tonight, and I'm excited because Alicia and I are going to stop here at some point!!!

Baby J is doing great at school, and getting more huge and more cute everyday!!! I love this kid so so so much! :-)

I LOVE my husband!!! I seriously do. He is so sweet and good and wonderful and today just reminds me of that even more!

For my Valentines gift, he got me a NICE gift certificate to spend here!!! Scrapbooking stuff here I come!

Woohoo! Valentines Day is almost here!

Are you excited about that like I am? I am such a nut for Holidays. Right now my house is covered in heart decorations, because well, they just make life happier for me! :-) Soon they will be replaced with all things eggie (is that a word?).....but I digress.

Today I will begin baking cupcakes and addressing Valentines all to be mailed by this afternoon. This is of course to ensure that all gifts will arrive on of before Heart Day! With several out of state family members, you can never be too sure.

This weekend was busy. On Saturday (which was gorgeous and a lovely 75 degrees! **come on summer!**) we went to the park and enjoyed some ice cream while watching the ducks swim in the pond.

Sunday was McKenna's Birthday Party! I am blown away that this kid is so big! Wow, 5 years old! Today is her actual birthday so Happy Birthday my sweet niece!

The party was a little crazy being that the party room itself was a bit too small and cramped with people and the fact that I helped her open her gifts at lighting speed because the staff at the party place were practically pushing us out the door (when they say it ends @ 6:15, they aren't kidding! :-D). But, she had a blast, got a ton of presents, and was just thrilled the whole time, so I glad for her!

That was pretty much my weekend! Now I'm off to do some lessons and then make some cupcakes, yay me!

Also note our throughly destroyed blinds. That is the result of my taking pity on a stray dog, I left it alone in the house for 2 hours and it managed to tear up the blinds, poop everywhere, and chew up the carpet.

So, needless to say, I found that puppy a home where someone would be home with him during the day. :-)

I have been so busy!

Wow! The last few days have just been insane! I mean really, it seems like I've been caught in a whirlwind or something!

First off, there was awful weather in Galveston (and Houston for that matter) on Fat Tuesday. So we decided that we didn't want to stand in the cold rain just to get beads. Instead, we ended up going here. Which was a ton of fun! I had been there before, but it was still awesome! Seriously, I just love fish and all things ocean, so we had a blast. Plus we got to ride all the rides several times before it came a massive downpour, so we just had the best time! We brought Baby J a stuffed sea turtle back as a present!

I didn't take any photos because I was afraid of taking my camera in that weather.

The next thing is that Jackson is loving daycare! The teachers tell me everyday how he is such a happy baby and as long as he's fed and dry, he will just laugh and play......I just love my little boy!

He's so cute! Last night I was pretend "throwing him in the air" and he was just cackling away. So so precious!

Well, yesterday I got into a conversation with one of his teachers and long story short they offered me a job there! :-) That's awesome because it's part time, so I'll still be able to do my school work, I'll get a discount on his tuition, make a little money, and get to be with him in the daytime a little too!
So yay for that!

I also have been doing schoolwork, housework, and just basic other daily stuff on top of all that. I'm just nuts I guess, and yet somehow I like all this being busy. Weird.

On Monday I will begin baking a gillion cupcakes for my Valentines gifts. LOL! It never ends! :-)

Things are looking better

Well it seems as though the worst of our sickness is over. I'm thinking it was one of those 24 hour bugs. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers!

Anyway, Jackson is feeling the best because he got it first, so he got over it first. I got it last, but mine didn't seem to be as bad as Dave's.

Boy was he ever sick. But now we are all rested and feeling ok.

Today Dave and I are going to the Fat Tuesday Celebration in Galveston! This is our anniversary trip, even though it's a bit early. My mom will be keeping the Baby J.

In addition to this fun event, my awesome hubby got my hair done and my toenails done as anniversary gifts! I <3 him!!!!

Being the big nerds that we are, we just finished watching the entire Planet Earth Series on DVD through our netflix. It is such an amazing series!!!! So, for part of his present I got him a HUGE puzzle with one of the scenes from Planet Earth.

I'm excited also because I joined a new scrapbooking club this month and I can't wait for my new kit to come! You can look here if you're interested! I was a memeber of Club Scrap before, but I canceled for various reasons, one of them being that one month I would love the kit, and the next would just be so so.
