Monday, monday

I have to say there is something so awesome about having a little drool faced baby grin at you as he crawls across the floor. Jackson has accomplished so much in the past week I am just blown away! He is now self feeding with his hands...we are still working on the spoon though. He is trying to stand with help and babbles new little syllables constantly.

I'm very excited about his upcoming birthday, which we will be having at Chuck E Cheese!

In other news, I'm going back to school August 25 to finish my Bachelors in English. Initially I thought that when I graduated I would go to nursing school, but I have since decided to get my teaching certification instead. I'm going to teach high school English I've decided!

Lastly, the Disney trip gets closer all the time and I am sooooooo excited! I seriously cannot wait, especially b/c I get to meet my bloggy buddy, Jen a.k.a. Guinevere Meadow, when I get there!

So there you have it...the latest goings on in my life.

    LOL..I'll be finishing up my teaching certificate, but I actually want to go back and get a nursing degree!

  2. I hope to go back when all of the kids are in school full time to finish up my teaching degree, but for me it's the little ones that I love working with.
    Isn't it amazing how many new things a child can learn in such a short period of time?! Before you know it you'll be sending him off to preschool (which I'll be doing in Sept. along with a 1st & 4th grader:(

  3. I wish I had gotten my teaching certification when I was in school. I am way too lazy to go back now. Maybe someday, when I am ready to go back to work.

  5. Jackson is at such a fun age! I majored in Eng. Ed for a while too!
    Wish I was going to Disney. It's so much fun.
